Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Memora — the web app, the API, or the MCP server — you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you are using Memora on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.

• Give us accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One account per person. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Memora is a memory layer: it extracts, stores, and retrieves memories from your conversations, and makes them available to AI clients you connect through the Model Context Protocol. Free accounts have caps on stored memories and monthly retrievals; the current limits are shown on the pricing page and in Settings.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the period you already paid for, then drops to the free tier — your data is not deleted by a downgrade, but anything over the free caps may become read-only until you are back under them.

You own the conversations you have and the memories Memora keeps for you. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content in order to run the service — including sending conversation content to the model providers named in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train models, and the license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for what you store. Do not store content you have no right to hold, including other people's personal data.

• No illegal content or illegal use.
• No probing, overloading, or circumventing rate limits, quotas, or authentication.
• No reselling the service or providing access to it as your own product without our agreement.
• No interfering with other users' data or attempting to access it.

We work to keep Memora fast and available, but the service is provided “as is” and may change, pause, or break — especially while it is early. Export your data any time from Settings if you want an off-platform copy; that path always stays open.

You can delete your account in Settings whenever you like; deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and where practical we will tell you why. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: contact email — set before launch
